Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character in a variety of TV shows, including Opposite Sexual. Then, after appearances in a number of teenage films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was in a variety of films that were adapted from comics and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). He gained wider recognition for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The work he did on the Marvel series established him as one of the top-paid actors.
