MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been affected through his worldwide reach. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has declared that music is a must. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. At first, he wanted to become an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
